Hi, all!
Guess what? It's check-in time again for the Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge 2012!! Time to show off what you're working on, or what you've finished, for Hands2Help. You can link up and show off your progress from your blog or Flickr, or you can just leave a comment.
I'll be the first to 'fess up that I haven't started on mine - and it's getting down to the wire! But I will have at least one done by May 27th, when we link up to show off our final finishes and qualify for the giveaways!
And speaking of giveaways, next week I'll be sharing information on all the sponsors and the prizes they are offering - be sure to check back and see all the goodies!!
I can't wait to see what you've been working on - so link up now! The linky will remain active until next Saturday night....
Hugs!
Sarah
Hi. My I SPY quilt for H2H is all done. Yeah. I posted a picture of it last time :D
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, I'm just wondering if I can donate my quilt to Aussie Hero Quilts? I have made one quilt for this group during the time of the H2H challenge, and am wondering if I can count this as a H2H quilt? ... You did say us internationallies could 'choose a local charitable cause to give your quilt to' ... This is a group that makes and sends quilts over to the Aussie soldiers in the Middle East/Afghanistan to show that their service is appreciated and that they are supported by those of us over here back home ... support for the 'man', not the politics or the mission ... their blog { http://aussieheroquilts.blogspot.com/ } can give you a better idea of the 'charity' ... I do have a second quilt in the works to make for them as soon as my uni lets up ...
ReplyDeleteI have a log cabin quilt finished for the NOLA H2H group. I will post a photo on the final finish posting.
ReplyDeleteMy H2H quilt is almost finished. I am working on finishing the hand binding. I hope to post a picture of the finished quilt before Saturday.
ReplyDeleteAll of mine are finished - two were already mailed off to Em and I will be mailing the other two off to you tomorrow - now that you have your new space to store them.
ReplyDeleteWhat timing, I just finished the last of mine. They are all washed and ready to be mailed. Feels good to have them all done :)
ReplyDeleteYEAH! to the lovely helping hands. The quilts look great and the quiltometer is on the rise. Thank you everyone!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMine is at the quilter, hope to get it back this week, bound and off to you before the end of the month. How do I provide a picture of the finished quilt since I don't have a blog?
ReplyDeleteI just picked up the fabric for the 2 quilts today! I am excited to work on them, I sould have the tops finished this week for sure, maybe even have them quilted!
ReplyDeleteMy 2 tops are done and I actually got one of them quilted this weekend and the binding attached. Will finish stitching the rest of the binding down and should have the other quilt done next weekend. Pretty much right on track.
ReplyDeleteWell hey! I am still here, but have no progress yet past cutting them out and piecing one top. We have been farming out here like crazy...and to top it off my sewing machine is in the repair shop. I see you have your linky open for a week. I might just get in this one yet. Just wanted you to know I had not forgotten and still plan to send along a couple of quilts!
ReplyDeleteI have 1 done ; maybe 2 !! deciding on another I have done ; keep it for me or donate ; hmmmm. what to do !
ReplyDeleteI have posted a picture of my finished quilt. I need an address where to send it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI am about 1/3 of the way through the quilting. Unfortunately, I had some machine issues pop up. BUT, Ms. Kitty is due back from the "spa" soon. I hope to pop my quilt in first thing when she returns and finish it up!
