I hope you are able to get the new quilt planned and finished quickly for the sick child.

You are probably going to need to move at least one of those butterfly plants. I used to have some and they get really big! Both tall and big around. We would trim them down every winter but they would get to be over 12 feet tall every summer. We never had them spread they just got so large. When I had bought mine the tag said they only grew to 6 feet tall but they were over achievers apparently. Now they are not sold locally in any of the stores as the state has declared them to be an invasive species. A few years ago we ripped ours out as I decided they were way to much work. Plus I had them planted to close to the house. I had them in the planter at the front of our house and by the end of each growing season they would fill the space and rub against the house. But things can really grow in the PNW as we have very long growing seasons and usually we have pretty mild winters. Hmm now that I have said that we will probably get a doozy of a winter next year. Although we are currently in a drought so I guess that would not be a bad thing.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17779941292169327439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1378425196583923775.post-82875561137974958592021-06-01T07:24:53.610-05:002021-06-01T07:24:53.610-05:00So sad to hear of the sick child, I know your quil...So sad to hear of the sick child, I know your quilt will provide much comfort.
