I am amazed at how well it works. Fabric is a big expense, but needles and thread can also add up fast as well as batting. We also break out in a rash from any detergent that is not "free". I wash with ALL and use Downy Free. <br /><br />I love the tip on joining batting, I will definitely have to try that. So are a lot of others. I wash quilts with All Free.
