Don't you just love those two cute faces up there? The globe is centered on China, where my future grandson Nathanael is currently living. In honor of National Adoption Awareness month, which also happens to be Nathanael's birth month, I'm sharing quilts that are being auctioned off to help raise money to bring him home. I've shared six already this week, and have four more, two today and two tomorrow, to finish off the lot. If you see something you like, you can go to my Facebook page, Fabric Addict Quilts and More, to bid on one of these, or any of the other quilts listed there!
Here are today's offerings….
This is quilt #8 - "Rabbit Run"! This quilt measures 44" x 44", a great size for your toddler to snuggle under! The patchwork panel is made of fabric from the line Ric Rac Rabbit from Andover Fabrics, and is quilted in a cross-hatch straight line pattern. The green background has multi-colored dots, and is quilted with a dense large pebbling and swirl pattern. The backing is white with green polkadots and a strip of the green fabric from the front. The quilting gives this quilt great texture! 100% cotton batting, and a gray and white geometric binding. Completely sewn by machine, this quilt is sturdy and designed to withstand a whole lot of loving and machine washing and drying!
Starting bid on this quilt is $100. Bids will close on Monday, November 10th at 5 pm CST.
And here's quilt #3 - "Happy Days". This quilt is 47" x 60", showcasing cool kid prints framed with a bright yellow print. Your child will love discovering all the fun things to see on this quilt! The back has owls and rabbits cavorting under green trees on a fuchsia background. The front is quilted with a rainbow colored variegated thread, with white on the back. 100% cotton batting. Completely sewn by machine, this quilt is sturdy and designed to withstand a whole lot of loving and machine washing and drying!

You've sure got a lot of beautiful quilts up for auction and I hope they all find good forever homes, to help Nathanael get to his. I'm not of Facebook but I went over and had a peek at all the goodies. Good luck with the fundraising!
