Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? A Long Awaited Finish...

Hi, all!

Here we are at Friday again! That means it's time to get our whoop whoop on - are you ready?  I am!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

Today I'm sharing the finish of a long-time UFO -
No, it's not mine, but I had the privilege of quilting it
for a friend who made it last year for
her parents but never got it quilted.

We did finally get some sun today, so I was able to take some outdoor shots of this pretty quilt!

Unfortunately, late afternoon sun turns the quilts yellow...

...but this picture shows the colors a bit more truly!

And here's the pretty pieced back that finishes it off!

And now my friend can not only give this quilt to her parents this Christmas, but take one more thing off her UFO list!  Can we give her a whoop whoop?

*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And I'm also doing a little happy dance, because you all responded so well to the call for bloggers for my "Twelve Days of Christmas in July" blog hop, we have 24 bloggers lined up to bring you some great ideas in July 2016!!  I can't wait - so I'm whooping it up big time!!

AND last but certainly not least - - - I have officially lost 31 pounds since August!
WHOOP WHOOP!!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's got you whooping it up this week?

What's making you break out in a little happy dance?

Share - because we want to dance right along with you...

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until Sunday midnight -

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  1. Your friends quilt I just lovely. Am looking forward to the 2016 Christmas in July, although I'm not wishing time to move along any more quickly than it already seems to be doing! Congratulations on your weight loss! It takes a lot of hard work and determination! Keep up the good work!

  3. Ok, now I am really envious. You quilt quickly and in great quantity, you run a thriving quilt ministry and now you have lost weight. Since age 60, in the last year, the weight crept on despite all the best efforts of cutting down on the healthy food I was already eating and have flunked out of being a life time member of Weight Watchers, while still following the program. Congratulations on all your notable accomplishments.
