Hi, all!
It seems hard to believe, but it's Monday again! The weeks go by so quickly sometimes, don't they? Sometimes you just have to remember to s-l-o-w d-o-w-n a little bit... take a deep breath and do something you love, just because! Have you taken any time for yourself recently? I'd love to hear what you do!
Enough philosophizing, though - let's see how last week's list went!
1. Quilt the Stunning Stars quilt for this Sunday's post.
2. Write the tutorial for that quilt.
Done! This one was a lot of fun - you can read more about it here!

3. Put the binding on three ministry quilts.
Done! No picture, though.

4. Order the materials for the commission quilt.
Done! They should be arriving any day now!

5. Cut out the next Stunning Stars quilt.
Done - and not only cut out, but sewn together! And the back's done, too! Here's just a tease...

6. Start assembling the borders for the Dear Jane quilt.
I still haven't gotten to this one yet...

7. Contact the potential sponsors for Hands2Help 2017.
In progress - I've got to finalize the charities before I can send out the sponsor letter, and I'm waiting to hear back from one. But you can grab the button for your blog - it's in the upper right side bar!
8. Keep up with any quilt ministry needs that come up this week.

8. Keep up with any quilt ministry needs that come up this week.
Done! We only gave away three quilts this week...
This quilt went to a gentleman with prostate cancer...
This quilt went to a gentleman diagnosed with pancreatic cancer...
And this one went to a new baby boy!
So pretty good on last week's list - only one thing didn't get done! Here's what's on tap for this week...
1. Quilt the Stunning Stars quilt pieced last week.
2. Cut and piece the next Stunning Stars quilt.
3. Quilt tops for Stash Builder Box.
4. Finalize the charities for Hands2Help.
5. Send out the sponsor request emails.
6. Assemble at least one border for the Dear Jane quilt.
7. Keep up with any quilt ministry needs that come up.
Seems like a short list, but I got five big packages of quilts to finish for Stash Builder Box - I haven't had a chance to open them up but I'm sure it will be at least enough to keep me really busy for a day or two!
So now the question is - - - what are YOU working on this week?
Hugs!
Sarah
I love the Stunning Stars quilt! When things slow down (and they will in about 3 weeks), I may give it a try.
ReplyDeleteLovely 'guy' quilts! I'm sure they are all feeling blessed.

ReplyDeleteWow! 5 packages of quilt tops. Can't wait to see what they look like.
ReplyDeleteI'm already on track for this week! Got one quilt finished for a friend recovering from sarcoma surgery. Still need to add borders to 2 quilts and make new cushion covers for the upper deck of our boat. Those should go fast, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to the third Stunning Stars quilt reveal :)
Love that star quilt Sarah! You're such a busy bee!
