Hands2Help - Results and Winners!!!

Hi, all!

Here we are at the end of this year's Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge!  And I am so excited to report this year's results - - - after having a record number of people sign up, we ended up with 125 people who finished quilts, and a grand total of 267 quilts made for charity!

Do you all understand just how many lives you are touching with those quilts?  Not just the people who receive them, but their family members, their friends, the doctors and nurses who see them use those quilts - all will be touched in some way by the heartfelt gesture you have made with each of your quilts.  You've made my heart sing a symphony, too - I love hearing from each of you and knowing that it has touched your hearts too.  Thank you for making this year's Challenge such a success!!

  12. That is really amazing! Thank you so much, because I know that was a lot of work, and now the mailing will be even more work. I look forward to receiving my fat quarters, but I would say don't stress about the mailing. It took us a lot of time to make the quilts, and you can certainly take some time to do all that work. Thank you for being willing, because I know that adds a huge dimension of work onto what you are already doing for the challenge. And all those quilts! Raises the bar high for next year!

When I work in my little basement sewing to my heart's desire, I don't realize just the impact one little quilt can make until I see the fruit of everyone's labor like this. Thanks to all the donors and most of all to you, Sarah, for all the work behind the scenes to make this happen. I don't do it for the prize, but it's fun to get a quilty surprise in the mail!
