Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'...

Hi, all!

Wow, this week has just flown by!  It's hard to believe, but it's Friday again, and time to get our whoop whoop on!!  Are you ready?  Let's get started!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

I had a busy and productive week - with a wide variety of accomplishments!  I met with a friend about a new commission job on Tuesday and then went to spend some quality time with my grandkids.  Wednesday brought another opportunity to do some whooping when I finally got my oil changed, and to celebrate, stopped by Starbucks....

...and they not only had Skinny Peppermint Mocha, they had Christmas cups!  Yes, I know it feels like it's pushing the season, but it IS only 51 days until Christmas - and I want to enjoy a lot of SPMs before they send them away again!

And then over the next two days I managed to finish not only the top of Emmy's annual quilt...

...but I made the back too!  I'm not ready to quilt either of the two I've pieced yet, but it's nice to know they're ready to go when I have time to quilt them!  (I finished Nathanael's annual quilt last week...)

And then I had a few minutes today and decided to knock out next week's blocks for my Gypsy Wife quilt!   These are called Courthouse Steps blocks, and they were quick and easy.  I may even try to get a jump (actually get caught up since I missed a week) and work on the next blocks!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's got you whooping it up this week?

What's making you dance a little happy dance?

Share!  We want to dance right along with you,

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  2. Your Gypsy blocks are lovely as always. I'm on to the 35 square in a squares week but they are surprisingly fast to do if you chain piece them. Christmas? I thought we had that in July :-)

  4. I love how the mermaid quilt turned out. The big mermaid panels with all that scrappy goodness just speaks to my heart.

  5. Love Emmy's quilt, and that Starbucks mug; my daughter came home with hers on Wednesday. That's Beaumont, a little town outside of Edmonton, Alberta, and you're in Tennessee, so just think how MANY mugs they make...boggles the mind! GW blocks are pretty colours!

  7. I’m definitely whooping for you! I think it was only about two weeks ago I was convinced you weren’t making the annual quilts for the grandkids this year because you hadn’t started them yet, and now you’ve finished piecing two of them!

  9. I love seeing your work, it definitely inspires me! I am currently working on Tula Pink's '100 modern quilt blocks' with my scraps (you can see on FB Debshookandneedle page). I'm curious, are you doing the Gypsy Wife quilt with a group or on your own? It's on my Bucket List, I love it! -Deb
