Well, here it is Tuesday night and I have absolutely. nothing. scrappy. Nothing at all. My day took an unexpected turn today - a good one, because I got to spend some fun time with my grandkids, but it didn't allow for any scrappy sewing at all - and being out of town last week has put me way behind! So I've fallen back on my old faithful, Instagram, and I'm going to share some of the beautiful work I've seen out there lately. Oh, and there'll be a special call for assistance at the end of the post - stay turned for that!

Such a beautiful low volume string block!! Kristi is one of my favorite scrap quilters - if you don't follow her already, you should!
This quilt top was actually a mistake, not what was originally planned - but I love it! I'm wondering if I have enough solid scraps to pull it off....
And isn't it amazing what putting a square on point does for the design? Beth really outdid herself with this one!
Don't you love the low volume mixed fabric background of this? A great way to use those odds and ends of low volume fabrics.
I truly love this low volume log cabin quilt - traditional, yet not precisely - it makes a statement!
And how about this cool piece of wall art someone found in a Home Goods? I think this could have good possibilities with some leftover strings folded over felt strips.

And now for the request for assistance! One of this year's Hands2Help charities was Little Lambs Foundation for Kids of Utah, an organization which provides backpacks with personal care items to kids going into the foster care system. They've put out a call for some items they are in need of, and if you can help, I hope you will!
The work these folks do is amazing, and the quilting community certainly rallied behind them through H2H, donating over 200 quilts as part of the Challenge this year! I hope you'll join me in sending them a few things to build up their stock again.

And that's all I got today - but with only a little over a week until the end of the month, I need to get working on my tub of scraps for June!
