Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? A Whole Lotta Nothing....

Hi, all!

Friday has rolled around again (so fast!) and that means it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on!  My week went by in a rush of multiple projects, none at any interesting stage, but I did do a few things that might be worth sharing.  So let's get started!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

As I said, it's been a crazy week - lots of time spent with plumbers, a little time spent with my grandkids (wish that was more!), and a bunch of short times of sewing.  No finishes on that front, though.  However, I did have a few fun things happen...

My swap buttons for QuiltCon arrived!

I think I've settled on a design for this year's Hands2Help avatar...

...and one for this year's comfort quilt tutorial series!

And I did get a little bit of sewing done, as attested to by this pile of trimmings - and there were lots more in the trash can!

And last, but DEFINITELY not least, I now have a working toilet in my bathroom!  Our toilet had worn out (who knew they could do that)?) and the plumber finally replaced it today.  Woohoo!!

So a weird little week, but I still want to say - - -
Can I get a whoop whoop??

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's got you whooping it up this week?

What's making you do a little happy dance?

Share!  We want to dance right along with you,

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  12. A working toilet is not a whole lotta nothing. . . without a toilet you gotta whole lotta something! ;-) BTW when I have teeny little pieces of fabric, small pieces of batting, etc. I toss them separately from other trash. When my basket is full, I fill a big bag and it is stuffing for pet beds. My kitties have some cute pillow beds. I could supply the Humane Society! ;-)

  13. A working toilet is absolutely vital! We consider the toilet to be a "mission critical" system on the boat and have a second one as a "critical spare part." :)

  16. You can save all those scraps of fabric and use them to make dog beds for the local shelter.
