So many great ideas this year, right? And we're still not done! Today we'll be hearing from two more participants - Mary of Made by Marney will be bringing something special, and Selina of Selina Quilts is back for her second post of the hop, because she just had so many great ideas to share they wouldn't fit in just one post! Finally! Today is the day, if you are following along, when you will make your ninth and final block! By now you should be able to make these blocks in your sleep, but if you still need the construction instructions, you'll find them here.
At the moment, this is the status of my medallion version of this quilt. I'm still trying to decide how to quilt it, but I will definitely reach some decision and get started so it will be finished by the end of the hop. After all, finished is better than perfect, right? So it's sitting on the frame, silently reminding me that I need to get a move on every time I walk in the room. I always imagine if I wait too long that it will grow arms and reach up and dope slap me in an effort to say, "Quilt me now!"
Tomorrow we'll talk about pulling all those blocks together into a finished top, which should be a breeze considering how good you've gotten at matching those triangle points by now.
Keep up the good work!
Hugs!
Sarah
