Hi, all!Well, better late than never - with a long day driving on Saturday and all the busy-ness that Sunday entails, today's Hands2Help post completely slipped my mind. Then, as I was sitting in my chair this evening going through email, I saw a message from someone who sent pictures of their quilts and I thought, "Hmmm, I guess I can post those on Friday..." and realized that I had forgotten the final link-up post! So we're getting a late start, and for that I'm sorry!
And by the way, here are the quilts that jogged my memory...
These three beauties are from Janette B., and are going to either Victoria Quilts or MCC (she didn't specify which)...
...and these five are from Kristi B. She didn't say where she sent them but aren't they wonderful?
And now it's your turn to link up and share your quilts. If you think of it, let us know where you are donating them - I love seeing the variety of charities that benefit from Hands2Help and I'm sure others do too! And if you don't have a blog, feel free to send your pictures to me (salliesue57 at gmail dot com) and I will share them on my blogposts this week.
And if, by chance, you have already sent your quilts off and neglected to take pictures of them, please email me (salliesue57 at gmail dot com) and let me know how many you made and where they went so we can get an accurate count for the end of the Challenge!
This link party will stay open until next Saturday, June 3rd, at 12 pm CST. Let's see those beautiful quilts!!
Hugs!
Sarah
Beautiful quilts! So creative and generous!
ReplyDeleteI have quilts to send, but some are in the mail from my binder, so no photos yet. 2 for Quilts From Ben for people who are donating the organs of loved ones. 1 for Victoria Quilts. 1 for Little Lambs or another baby quilt charity. There's still one more waiting to be quilted for American Hero Quilts, and another for Quilts From Ben waiting for quilting, but it has to wait until I have the longarm fixed in July, so they'll be late. I may link the Victoria Quilts one, because I actually have that top in a picture!
ReplyDeleteI do not have a blog, and cannot send pictures, I made some larger quilt tops over the past few years. I've asked for help to finish those items to be sent to various charities. I have enjoyed connecting with this group and will continue to do so. Future quilts, in the works, will be going to Quilty Hugs and Heartstrings Quilt Project
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm late to the link up because I was in Perdido Key last week too. Gotta love that beautiful beach!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah for another challenge which always gets so many quilts made for such worthwhile charities. I was only able to finish 9 this year, but have several more in various stages to get finished and sent in the next few months.
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful quilts, Sarah, but I missed this year's deadline!! :o((
