12 Days of Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Hi, all!

After Christmas each year, do you vow that you will make handmade gifts and home decor items for the following year's Christmas, only to find your plans disappear like snow in summer?  November rolls around, everyone gets busy,
and yet another year passes without
that gorgeous Christmas quilt on your sofa...

... or the handmade ornaments on your tree ...

The wonderful hand-crafted gift items for your quilt-y friends are still just a twinkle in your eye....

...as are the placemats or table runner you so lovingly planned to make way back in January!

And don't even mention those up cycled Christmas stockings that would look oh-so-cute hanging from your mantel!

Well, I have an idea this year!

A fun way to get yourself motivated, and maybe even achieve some of that cute hand-created Christmas you've been wishing for!

The Twelve Days of Christmas in July
Blog Hop!

For twelve days, starting on July 14th and ending on "Christmas in July", July 25th, twenty-five talented bloggers are going to share their hand-crafted Christmas ideas with you.  There will be big projects, small projects, a little bit of something for everyone!  Join the sleigh ride and be inspired to start early and create the special Christmas memories that will last a lifetime.

There will also be a quilt-along on this blog - specifically designed so that you can have a finished quilt top at the end of the twelve days with only an hour or less of sewing each day!  Yes, that Christmas quilt is a possibility this year!  Stay tuned to this blog for more details and fabric requirements prior to the hop, so you can be ready to participate if you choose to.

So mark your calendars and join us
as we get ready to do the
Jingle Bell Hop...

...and get the jump on Christmas!!

Hugs!

Sarah

  5. this sounds like fun. I have learned to write down my projects starting the middle of January and when I want them finished, giving a little extra time for each for flexibility of course. I do pretty good. Hope you all have fun. quilting dash lady at comcast dot net

  9. What an awesome idea! Imagine getting Christmas projects done months ahead! I'm not kidding..I'm trying to imagine it because despite the best laid plans, I never ever do that. Instead I find myself sewing things up at the last minute. Ugh. This sounds like what I need to finally have a stress-free Christmas.
