Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? So Many Fabulous H2Hers!!

 Hi, all!

Here it is, Friday again!!  And you know what that means - it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on!  Are you ready?  I know I am - this is a special post for me, and one I am really most sincerely whooping about!  Read on to find out why - let's get started!

Last Sunday was the second check-in date for this year's Hands2Help Challenge, and I have been receiving emails all week from non-bloggers who want to share their quilts or progress.  It has been a humbling experience to see all these wonderful quilters sewing their little fingers off to make quilts to benefit others, and I can't wait to show you all of them.  Be patient - I made collages of most of the submissions, as many had multiple quilts to share - and there's still a LOT of pictures to follow.  At the end, I'll let you know just how many quilts are in this batch!

Here's a story to go with the next four quilts, which came from Connie W.:

"My four quilts to date have gone to Comfort Quilts. This group of quilters celebrated it's seventh anniversary earlier in the year. Quilts had primarily been for children and donated to the local Ronald McDonald House. Other quilts were donated to the local hospice and several area nursing homes. With the shutdown, RMD House stopped accepting quilts for the protection of its very vulnerable population. Our group leaders found a new outlet for the children's quilts, a hospital based pediatric office. Comfort Quilters gathered outdoors safely this week and submitted 142 quilts! The variety of quilts, fabrics, patterns and eye candy was wonderful and so inspiring. Here are pictures of the ones I submitted."

And now, another sweet quilt story, this time from Erin in Michigan:

"I dropped off a quilt top at the quilter’s at the very end of January - and was able to gift it to my daughter’s teacher just in time to honor our 1-year anniversary of staying home. Her teacher has taught their class virtually this whole year, and has amazingly been able to support these kids from their homes and kept them feeling “together” as a class when we had to stay apart. She’s our family’s hometown hero :)"

So, if I am adding correctly (certainly not a certainty because my brain is MUSH), that is 107 quilts just from non-bloggers in the last month.  I'll try to do a total of what has been shared so far across all the check-ins soon - it's exciting!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop for all these fabulous (non-blogging but incredibly generous and creative) quilters?
