Hi, all!
Well, another week has passed in this year's Hands2Help Challenge - how are your quilt(s) coming along? I've been seeing so many beautiful quilts on Instagram, and each one makes me smile! Today we get to meet another Hands2Help-er, Kathy, who blogs over at Kathy's Kwilts and More. I've been a (bad?) influence on Kathy, who occasionally joins me in making a to-do list on Monday and sharing it with the world. She also participates in a LOT of blog hops - I'm always amazed at how much she does! After Kathy shares with us, you'll have a chance to link up and share your progress so far - so hang in to the end, and I'll share more about how to do that! So let's get to it - I'm turning the blog over to Kathy!
*&*&*&*&*&*
Let me give a brief intro about myself. I am mom to 5, mom in law to 3, and grandma to 7 (8th is due in August and we will have 4 of each). I work full time as a professional seamstress and I can't wait to get home to sew and quilt.

Thanks for sharing with us, Kathy - it's always interesting to learn more about the people who participate in the Challenge!
And now it's your chance to link up and share your progress so far in the Challenge! You can link up to an Instagram photo, a blogpost, a Flickr post - the sky's the limit! If you don't do any of those social media-type things, you can email me a picture of your quilt and I will be happy to link it up for you. And it doesn't have to be finished at this point - you can just share progress shots if you want. This is just a chance for us to cheer each other on and/or be inspired by what others are doing. So jump right in and show off! I can't wait to see what you're working on!
Hugs!
Sarah
Thanks to Kathy for sharing her story, and I LOVE that first quilt on her post!!
ReplyDeleteLinda,
DeleteThat was my Winnie the Pooh quilt. My oldest daughter decorated her nursery in Winnie the Pooh theme and I gave her this quilt and her 2 year old son decided it is his. Guess I need to make a new one for the baby.
Sarah,
ReplyDeleteNot a bad influence at all. I need to get back to my make a list Monday.
Nice to hear about others in the quilting arena-thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a heartfelt story from Kathy. Her quilts are also beautiful. It's fun to see all of the H2H progress, too.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see all the progress being made. I'm behind (as usual), but have fabric chosen and will be doing two small quilts for Jack's Baskets which I'm saving for a quilt retreat in two weeks. So I'll get there.
