And now I'm going to take my husband's suggestion. You see, the internet at our house has been out pretty much 75% of the time since we returned from vacation on July 1st, and because of that I'm having to write these blogposts (several at a time) away from home, and I'm running out of witty things to say! Yes, at one of my busiest blog times of the year, I'm having to do most of my blogging at Starbucks or McDonalds - because we live in a semi-rural part of the state, and can't get either cable internet or DSL. I've upgraded my list of questions if I ever buy a new house - it will now include, top of the list, "How do you get your internet service?" Ours is via satellite dish, which is notorious for being weather-sensitive, plus we have LOTS of trees in our yard, which means we are constantly at the mercy of tree growth, which can block line-of-sight from the dish to the satellite.
All of that to say, I'm sorry if the content of these posts isn't as scintillating as usual. So I'm going home now to sew a little and relieve some stress and think of wonderful things to say tomorrow!

So many cute items and tutorials again this year.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is coming along beautifully. So, so sorry about the internet. We went down for about an hour a week ago and MJ acted like his world was ending. I can't imagine what down 75% of the time would be like. I'm sure he would have moved to a hotel by now. Good luck.

ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! Internet is sketchy at best even with a fiber connection. We are all now SO reliant on the internet - for work and fun - that when it is slowwwwwww we really notice it. I love all of your posts but I am sorry for your frustrations. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeletethe internet is my connection to my sons and grands, they are military and it seems they are always on the move. I'd be crazy without emails and chats.
