Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? Scrapalicious!!

Hi, all!

It's Friday again, and time to get our whoop whoop on!!  Are you ready?  I hope so - it's always so much fun to see what everyone has been working on!

This week, I've been working with scraps, and I had a couple of fun finishes!  The first one was made with the scraps from the Polaroid quilt.  Someone on Instagram suggested that the strip of scraps I made for the back of that quilt would also have made a great table runner.  I had extras, so I sewed them together and here's the table runner!!

I really love how the colors work for Easter - but will also work for spring!  I had lots of different opinions on the two different borders I auditioned - the other was bright yellow with a light binding - but in the end I really liked the way the gray made the triangle strip pop!

And remember this tub of scraps?  It was my personal challenge for March as part of the "I May Have a Scrap Problem..." series.  I had hoped to get it pressed and folded...

...and I did!  Not only pressed and folded, but I cut enough squares to make a bow tie quilt.

The weather today was overcast, with rain coming soon, so as soon as I finished the flimsy, I took it outside to get some pics.  

Now, in the spring in Tennessee, if it's not raining or cold, it's windy.  I had a hard time getting a full shot of the quilt because the wind kept blowing it horizontal!  But here's a decent shot of the front...

And of course, you can always go underneath the quilt when it's blowing sideways to get a pretty shot with the light coming through it!

I love the way the focus point seems to glow in this picture!

After taking the wind-blown shots, I came back inside and loaded it up on Jolene....

And finished it up this afternoon, made possible because my husband had to work late!  Unfortunately, by the time I finished it, it was pouring outside, so no chance to take a great photo of the full finished quilt, but there's always tomorrow!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop??
