Christmas in July Blitz #4

Hi, all!

It's Thursday again and time for an update on my Christmas in July projects!

I've done this week's Simple Sampler blocks for both quilts:

Plus I started on the Giant Pincushion Sew-Along - here are my paper-pieced hexies and diamonds, ready for step three!

And here's my inspiration for all this sewing!!

A poem springs to mind:  "There once was a girl, who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead.  And when she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad, she was HORRID!"

Fortunately for my sanity, she's getting better and is only HORRID once in a while - but the curls persist!!  I just love them!

So - - - what are YOU working on for Christmas?

Later!

Sarah

  1. I absolutely love the fabric in those first two blocks!

How on earth do you resist not just squeezing the stuffing out of your little helper? She is adorable!
