Hi, all!
I want to do something a little different this week for Surfin' Sunday - because I get to do something a little different this week! On Friday night, I get to go to a movie premiere - a very special movie called "Courageous".
You may remember reading a little bit about this movie here before - it's been a large part of my husband's work life for the past two years or so. And it's wonderful to see it about to come to life for everyone else!! The movie opens in theaters on September 30th - I highly recommend that you go see it with your family. It's awesome!
Here's a clip from the movie....
And here's a video of Casting Crowns singing the movie's theme song....
You can discover more about the movie on the Courageous website. I hope you'll also take time to go see the movie!! You won't regret it!!
Hugs!
Sarah
Thanks for sharing. I will be watching for it to come to my area (we are generally behind everyone else).
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the movie and song clip. I'm glad that there are couragous people out there that don't mind it if they do have to stand alone.

My late husband was a police officer for 30 years. He got an instant family when he married me - a single mom with a young son. My son was one of the caregivers of the man he called "dad" in the last few months of his life. My brother is a retired deputy sheriff now in the Chaplain's service of the local Sheriff's Dept. Thank you for alerting us to this movie - I will definitely pass the word!
ReplyDeleteSarah this is so exciting. I have so enjoyed the other movies that have been made. What a blessing to see movies that are not only good stories, but that are wholesome and God honoring.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see this movie. We've really enjoyed Facing the Giants, Flywheel, and Fireproof. :)
ReplyDeleteYes thank you for mentioning this again! Have a wonderful week Sarah;)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have never been on a movie date. I think it is time. I will sneak aside some money each payday until then and get my dd to watch the little bug and I will take him to this movie. He is a cop, so of course we need to go--not that that is the reason for what is I am sure a wonderful movie.
