Hi, all!
It's time for me to get back on the horse and get to work in my studio - and the best way I know to do that is with a list! So today my list will be all of the quilt-y things that are on my horizon for the next few months.
1. Annual quilt for Lilli.
I'm planning a postage stamp quilt for Lili, made with some beautiful Kaffe Fassett shot cottons in deep muted colors that I have on hand. They aren't particularly my colors, but they are definitely hers!
2. Annual quilt for Nathanael.
For Nathanael, I'm going to indulge myself and use a design I've wanted to make for a long time - Dragon Dreams!
3. Annual quilt for Emmalyn.
Emmalyn is totally into Harry Potter, and while I don't have time to make her a HP quilt like I made Lilli, I do have time to make a simpler one with the house colors and the Hogwarts shield on it similar to the one shown above, so that's the plan. She's just started re-doing her bedroom in HP so I think she will love it!
4. Ministry quilt tops.
I'm not quite ready to belly up to the belly bar on my quilting machine yet, but I can piece or finish ministry quilt tops for others to complete.
5. Hexie quilt (for me!)
I am really enjoying this project, and hope to make some serious headway while on vacation. I managed to fill in one corner yesterday, so there's progress!
*&*&*&*&*&*&*
And it turns out I have a real/attainable task list in my head, so I'm going to go ahead and set it out as a good exercise...
1. Keep working on my hexie quilt.
2. Put borders on the string quilt and turn it over to someone else for finishing.
3. Pull/buy fabrics for Emmy's annual quilt, and locate pattern sheets needed.
4. Cut out Nathanael's annual quilt.
5. Press fat quarters for Lilli's annual quilt.
I may will not get these things done this week (especially since I'm on vacation!) but hopefully I will be taking some steps towards completion on some or all of them!
And now, I REALLY want to know - - - what are YOU working on this week?
Hugs!
Sarah
