It's been a busy week, at least here in my studio, and it's finally Friday! And we all know what that means - it's time to get our whoop whoop on!! Let's get started!
*&*&*&*&*&*
I made a couple of new items to put in my friend's shop this week - first up is this softly-colored table runner. I particularly love the fact that it used up a charm pack that had been in my drawer for about three years!
I cut the charm pack into quarters to get 2.5" squares and just mixed them up, with no particular pattern for this 14" x 36" runner.
A soft little print from the stash for the back and another for the binding, some straight line quilting, and it's all done!
And last week, I took some stuffed elephants that I had made several years ago for a craft show - they were very popular, and they asked me to make some more before this weekend.
Lilli picked out the fabrics for these three little elephants and I think she chose well! I usually make them in pairs, but with three different fabrics in this line, it just called for another baby!
Lilli pulled a whole bunch of fat quarters for more elephants, so I've got my work cut out for me!
And - - - I unveiled this year's 12 Days of Christmas in July quilt-along quilt...
...and the fact that we have a sponsor this year - BlocLoc! See the HSTs in the quilt-along quilt? Well, those are a whole lot easier with a BlocLoc ruler, and BlocLoc is offering a 10% discount on your purchase from now until July 15th with the code JULY25TH entered in the Special Instructions box. Just head to their website and get one quick before the quilt-along starts! (PS My favorite is the 6.5", which works well for this quilt.)
So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?
*&*&*&*&*&*&*
And now it's your turn!
What's got you whooping it up this week?
What's making you do a little happy dance?
Share! We want to dance right along with you,
And it's always more fun to dance with friends!
The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.
Hope to see you there!
Hugs!
Sarah
