Make-A-List Monday #73! Home again....

Hi, all!

I am home again, back from a wonderful six days in warm, sunny, Tampa, Florida!  Which means that I didn't get a lot done on the quilting front this week - but I got to spend lots of quality time with my husband, which was wonderful!!  We saw a lot of this....

...spent a good bit of time sitting in chairs like this....

....and ate breakfast one morning here....

....which was memorable because we paid $2.99 for two eggs, two pieces of bacon and two slices of toast, and 99 cents for a huge plate of the best home fries I've had in years, more than my hubby and I could eat between us!  I haven't seen prices like that in years....

I did work on one crafty (non-quilty) project, but I haven't quite finished it to take pictures - so I'll have to show those later.  And that's the only thing I got done on last week's list - I didn't have room to take Lilli's quilt with me, so no quilting on it, and I didn't work on sorting out the pictures on my computer, because the non-quilty project was so much fun!  But here's my list for this week...

1.  Make a back for and quilt the commission quilt.

2.  Work on hand-quilting Lilli's quilt.

3.  Quilt one quilt for the ministry.

4.  Decorate the house for Christmas!

There's lots of other stuff going on here this week, so the list is short, but possibly do-able.  Here's hoping!

So what are you working on this week?

Hugs!

Sarah

  3. Welcome back. This week, I am working on several small gift or exchange projects. I would like to quilt the JL quilt, but I need to figure out what color thread I want to use and create a back. I am hoping that I will be able to get a lot done on all these small projects.

  6. Goodness Sarah, where did you eat breakfast for $2.99!! I live just north of Tampa, and I don't know anyplace that serves a good breakfast for that price!! Sounds like a place I need to check out. Did you go to any quilt shops?? Rainbow's End in Dunedin??

  8. Happy you are back, but just so glad you had a chance to get away with DH and enjoy. A small list for the week is a good thing as it should be a week to enjoy and relax too. I will spend time with daughter's family and then head into vending at a holiday show.

  12. Nice to see St. Pete Beach and the top of our family condo at the top left of your picture!! Did you have your breakfast at the Hurricane or the place on the beach? I have had many dinners at the Hurricane, but never breakfast and watched manu sunsets from their top deck.
I am ready to get down there, but won't be going until after Christmas.
