Fridays are wonderful, aren't they? Something about having made it through the week, having the weekend to look forward to - is so much fun!! I hope you've had a fabulous week and are preparing for a great weekend....
I didn't get to do a whole lot of sewing this week - my studio is a major disaster area and is starting to disturb my creative mojo. That's when I know it's really bad! So today, I repurposed a shelf from another room and moved some stuff around and here's my achievement for the week...
And on another front, here's a sneak peek of something I've been working on this week - - -
I was asked to participate in a blog tour for a new book called "Back to Charm School", and this is a peek at the piece I chose to work on from the book. The blog tour will take place next week, starting on Monday - here's the schedule of bloggers participating:
2-20 Maureen Baly
2-20 Paulette Doyle
2-21 Lori DeJarnatt
2-21 Jo Kramer
2-22 Sherri McConell
2-22 Karen Griska
2-23 Julie Winkler
2-24 Sarah Craig
2-24 Suzanne Melkoski
2-25 Michelle Marr
2-25 Pat Wys
I'm really excited about this - and I have a copy of the book to give away, so you can get excited about it too! Plus I'll have a couple of other items to give away too - so be sure to check back here next Friday to find out more about this fun book!
*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*

Hi Sarah, that is an accomplishment. I am constantly changing and rearranging my craft room. Never completely satisfied. Always a works in progress. Yours looks great.
ReplyDeleteIs there a button for this book hop? Looks like a great book and can't wait to see all the projects. Great organization makes for an easier work for sure.

ReplyDeleteLooks good! All those shelves and pretty things on them:)
ReplyDeleteBlog hops are so much fun! I'm not familiar with any of those blogs except yours, so I'm looking forward to it.
Have a great weekend:)
Thanks for hosting this hop. I need your organizing skills as well! I'm getting inspired to do this while it rains this weekend ;) we need it so!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
JoAnn

Looks like a GREAt book! How fun!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That looks great! I totally understand what you mean about the studio being a detraction from creativity. Your room looks great so far! Love your wall color too!
ReplyDeletewow ! can you come to Indiana and organize my sewing stuff ???????? nice job Sarah ! Your sneak peak looks lovely ; can't wait to see it !
ReplyDeleteI bet you feel great getting things organized! Now you have more time to piece and quilt.
ReplyDeleteGreat way to organize. Not fair you have Reunion. Can't wait to see the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteOrganization is a huge accomplishment. I get organized and then it implodes five minutes later!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the blog hop - your teaser quilt looks awesome!
Great job organizing!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a super weekend!
Now you know me well enough that when I say, "Nice looking rack" you're going to laugh, right? I sure hope so! ;) I really do like the looks of your newly organized space. Cool book too!
ReplyDelete(I have absolutely NO IDEA what my first word verification says!)
Yay for new storage!! :) My room was affecting my mojo too!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for your success in organizing...some great flimsies on the shelves.
ReplyDeleteI'm still neck-deep in my organization. I started a major over-haul in January and it's still not all "there" yet.
I took a class, got ADD during the class and ended up leaving before I was clear on the directions...which created disaster. I was pulling out my hair and then just decided to "sew with the flow".
The new blog-hop project looks really fun!

Getting organized feels so good! I have yet to feel it recently, though! ;) I'll have to work on that this week. I finally got something crafty done this week so I could join you. Thanks for the motivation!
ReplyDeleteStraightening up a sewing room is no small feat!
ReplyDeleteI'd intended to be a able to join you this week, but I got a job instead, which was also no small feat! :-)
Well done with the organisation, it's no simple matter, I know. My seven year old daughter directed me in my last stash sort and she did a fantastic job!
