Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? A Waddle of Penguins!

Hi, all!

Another week has flown by - does it seem like the weeks get shorter, the closer we get to Christmas?  But here it is, Friday again, and you know what that means - it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on!!  So let's get started!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

Since there are only three more Fridays before Christmas (!!!!!!!), it's time to start sharing the grandkids' annual quilts!  You've seen progress shots on these, but over the next three weeks I'll be sharing the finished shots.  Today, it's Nathanael's quilt - A Waddle of Penguins!

This is an Elizabeth Hartman pattern, and while it had a bunch of pieces in each penguin, the directions were easy to follow and they went together nicely!

I used up a good bit of my black and white stash, and had a lot of fun giving each penguin a personality!  This is Aloha Penguin...

And of course there has to be a Dino Penguin!

This penguin lets his pet cats walk all. over. him!

And to top it all off, I found a great dinosaur print for the back.  This should hit all Nathanael's "likes" - penguins, dinosaurs, and green!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?

*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's got you whooping it up this week?

What's making you do a little happy dance?

Share!  We want to dance right along with you,

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  19. I agree with you on Elizabeth Hartman's patterns. I made the hedgehogs and when I got to a certain point they started developing their own personalities so 28 of them went a lot faster than I thought. This is a great quilt. Great job!
