Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends....

Hi, all!

Friday has rolled around once again, and we all know what that means - it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on again!  It's been a weird week here, with lots of starts and works in progress, so I don't have much to share, but I'm sure some of you do - so let's get started!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

I've been busy working on t-shirt quilts this week, with none quite to the finished stage yet, but I did also put together a collaboration quilt, with blocks made by many of our group members, that will be gifted to a quilt ministry member who moved away recently...

Next stop for this quilt will be another one of our members, who will do the quilting on her new long arm machine!  She's still in the "living in terror of the machine" stage so I'm hoping this will give her the desire to jump in and get her feet wet.

And while I'm eating breakfast and lunch, I've been plugging away at this puzzle - and it looks like the end may be in sight!  I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever get it done - it might not have been as difficult if they had given me a picture larger than the one on the box - but I'm getting close.  Maybe next week I'll be whooping about finishing it!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's got you whooping it up this week?

What's making you do a little happy dance?

Share!  We want to dance right along with you,

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  1. OMG -- that is a huge puzzle. How many pieces? I do online puzzles but they are small and I can usually whip through them as they only have a limited number of cuts in the sizes I like to do. (I am not even trying triangle shapes or weird bars!) Your group quilt is really nice. I hope your friend jumps into the long arm stuff with both feet and just tries it -- a lot. The more you do the more you learn.

  6. You know - puzzles keep the mind working - maybe I need to get 3 and see if it helps finding errors in quilt blocks! LOL. Like your Heart quilt.
