Hi, all!
Once again, Friday has rolled around - and that means it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on! It's been a lazy kind of week for me, so I've got a mixed bag of things to whoop about, and maybe you do too - so let's get to it!
*&*&*&*&*&*&*
Last week I told you I hoped I'd be whooping about this...
...and I'm happy to say that this puzzle is all finished! It was a bear to do, but a lot of fun all in all and I'm glad I had the experience. I don't think I'll be pulling this one out again anytime soon....
Thursday my husband and I had breakfast at a new-to-us coffee shop which served me this beautiful latte! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but this was delicious and I will definitely go back. The latte was a little bit of a celebration, because immediately after breakfast, we headed over to MTSU and....
...we both got our COVID vaccinations! (And yes I know the vaccination date is wrong - they had students filling out the cards, I think!) It was the Johnson&Johnson version, so we don't have to go back for a second shot. Two weeks from today, we should be good to go!
I'm also whooping about this - my goal thermometer is slowly rising to the top! Looks like it won't be too much longer before I can get that new oven combo.....
And I'm definitely whooping about this - my granddaughter made it! (Orange Loaf from Magnolia Journal) She is becoming quite a baker, which she says is what she wants to do for a living. After seeing and tasting this, I have no doubt she can do it! She also made Millionaire's Shortbread, but we ate those before I got a picture - they were OUTSTANDING!
Oh, and one last thing - Sunday is the beginning of the Hands2Help Comfort Quilt Challenge 2021, and we've already got almost 100 participants signed up! Unbelievable! I hope you'll join us as we spread a whole lot of comfort in the world - it's fun!
So - can I get a whoop whoop?
*&*&*&*&*&*&*
And now it's your turn!
What's got you whooping it up this week?
What's making you do a little happy dance?
Share! We want to dance right along with you,
And it's always more fun to dance with friends!
The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.
Hope to see you there!
Hugs!
Sarah
Hurray on your getting your vaccine! I’m kind of hoping for the J&J one and done, but I’ll take whatever I can get. Wow! Your granddaughter’s pastry looks so tasty. That Beatles puzzle is really cool!

Awesome!! I get my second shot on the 19th, and can see light at the end of the tunnel!
ReplyDeleteJ & J is the shot I would get if I could-best one in my opinion! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the vaccine! And that orange loaf looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI bought a Beatles puzzle to give as a gift to my sister, wow, it is a pretty intense puzzle. I may buy another for me. Looking forward to Hands2Help this year too.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the puzzle finish and your shots too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the single-dose J&J shot, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting your jabs!
ReplyDeleteYay vaccine! I've been supervising nursing students at several different vaccination drives. It's a little bit chaotic but it is so good for them. They are excited to get to practice their injection skills but I'm even more excited for the people skills practice that they get interacting with everyone who comes through.
ReplyDeleteYou had a very busy week, Sarah . Yah! for the vaccine. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting your shot and one and done is exciting. I get my second one next Saturday. It's such a relief after a year of worry and sacrifice. Now to inventory the UFOs and see what I can finish for H2H.

Maybe a lazy week but still a productive one! Congrats on moving forward and getting a vaccine. We are scheduled for our second Pfizer dose this week and are quite happy about it. Enjoy that latte :-)
ReplyDeleteIt’s the most wonderful time of the year....yay H2H 2021
ReplyDeleteSorry- a bit late reading and catching up. Just wanted to say I have that oven/microwave combo and LOVE it! So much so that when we moved... I got the same one! Congrats on your vaccine - we didn’t have a choice, we had to take whatever they had. But I got in and that’s a good thing! Lol
