Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? A Great Day!

Hi, all!

It's Friday - and you know what that means!  It's time for us to get our whoop whoop on!!  I have something fun and different to share today (at least for this blog) so let's get started!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

I've been working on a lot of different things this week, without anything really interesting to share - unless you're interested in seeing what it looks like now that I cleaned underneath the recliners were we watch tv!  But Thursday afternoon I took some time off and answered my youngest granddaughter's plea for "nana-time", and after a quick drive through Starbucks for frappaccinos...

...we headed to the local park!  They have a great playground with all kinds of super climbing things...

...and of all my grandchildren, she is the most fearless!  She ran from one piece of equipment to the next, hollering "Hey, Nana!" as she went.

I think that may be the sweetest sound on  earth!

This was her response when I told her it was time to go home, as she dared me to come up to the top and get her.

But in the end we finished off our time at the park amicably, and she informed me as we left that it was perfect, and she loved me.

I'm still smiling!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's got you whooping it up this week?

What's making you do a little happy dance?

Share!  We want to dance right along with you,

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until midnight Sunday.

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  3. You are so lucky to get to spend so much time with your grandchildren. Mine is over 3500 miles away, so we only get some Marco Polo time together (video walkie talkie). I will get to see her for a very short time in May.

  4. Grandma time is the best! Don't have any grandchildren but I'm sure when I do I'll it will rank up there with grandma time.

  6. Sounds like it was a wonderful day and with perfect weather too! May I link up too? I'm not a quilter, but I shared a cake recipe on my blog this week that definitely made me smile because it was soooo good!
