Hands2Help 2019 - Quilt Updates by Non-Bloggers!

Hi, all!

Wow!  We are having a fabulous response to the Hands2Help Challenge this year - and one of the best things to see is that there are so many non-bloggers becoming involved!  But that also means that I'm getting lots of pictures of beautiful quilts that you all need to see too.  So this year I'm trying something different and putting together a blog post to share them, at least for the check-in dates.

Without further ado, here are the beautiful quilts made by non-bloggers that have been shared with me so far!

This is the front (above) and back (below) of a quilt made by Donna J for Mercyful Quilts.

This sweet little quilt (below) was made by Doris M and is going to be sent to Jack's Basket.

Ila M made this cheerful two-color quilt for Jack's basket.

Janice S. made this lovely lavender beauty for Victoria's Quilts.

The next two quilts were made by Jeanne S. for the Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project...

...and she also made and donated these ten quilts to her local hospice.  Her description of these was interesting - they make the quilts with plain backs so that visitors can sign the quilt, and then the quilt is given to the family to take home with them.  What a wonderful idea!

Lorraine B. made the next two quilts, both of which are going to Quilty Hugs.

The two quilt tops below were made by Mary W and are being sent to Victoria's Quilts Canada.

And last, but certainly not least, is this beauty made by Rhondalina. She named this "Rainbows in a Cloudy Sky".  It is made using Alison Glass Sunprint fabrics set in Kona Charcoal.  Very appropriate for its destination, the Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project!

It's wonderful to see all the beautiful quilts, and to see that they are being spread across the board, so to speak - each of this year's charities are represented just in the quilts shown above, not to mention all the beautiful quilts already linked up in this week's check-in!  You all seriously rock!  Keep up the good work!

Hugs!

Sarah

  4. These are all so wonderful! I feel like I need to send my pictures though I am not a 'non-blogger'...I seem to be quite a 'bad blogger'! Ha! I will get my act together here soon. I do have quilts to send though so that's a great start :-) I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter. My sis is here with us and it's definitely a happy time!

  10. Sarah, thank you so much for going the extra mile and creating a post for the non-blogger donors. I'm still working on mine, but it's so nice to have you acknowledge the non-bloggers and make them part of the community.
