Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? Second Verse....

Hi, all!

Wow!  The week just flew by, and it's Friday again - and that means it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on!!  Let's go...

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

Last week I shared that I finished a baby quilt for my great niece - well, that quilt was delivered and my niece sent me the sweetest picture...

And that's definitely worth a whoop or two!  But you may also remember that I shared that I had quilted four ministry quilts and had a fifth on the frame.  Well, that total changed significantly, and I quilted all eleven quilts that I had on hand!  I also trimmed all eleven, made binding for each of them, and then managed to finish the binding on eight of them!  All of those headed to church on Tuesday night, where they joined the quilts that Piper and Susan had brought in...

Between the three of us, we had thirty quilts in various stages of completion!!  Thirteen were ready to go on the shelf, six were trimmed and ready for binding, and eleven.... well, those eleven came home with me for trimming and binding!

So as of Wednesday morning, this was my "to-do"s for the week.  I started out trimming and measuring each quilt, then made binding for five of them.  Some of the binding came from my leftover binding box, which was overflowing, so that was an added bonus!!

Thursday I started in on the bindings.  I only had part of the day to sew, but I managed to get the binding on five quilts, and washed and dried four of them!

Isn't that a beautiful sight?  Hopefully today I'll be able to finish the remaining six quilts and get them washed and dried and ready to go back to church on Sunday.

And I did one other thing that is totally whoop worthy, but I think I'll save that to share on Monday!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's made you whoop it up this week?

What's got you doing a little happy dance?

Share!  We want to dance right along with you,

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  5. OK I am worn out! My marathon quilting in January has me worn out!!! BUT now the fun starts with the 13 + 4 large quilts that need trimming, binding made, sewn on and then hand work. They are not charity quilts. If only I were 10 years younger!!!!! Congrats for all the hard work you do for charity. I know it is appreciated! And I admire you for doing it! Hugs
