Can I Get A Whoop Whoop? Life Was Good...

Hi, all!

I know it's hard to believe, but not only is it Friday again, it's also the first day of November!  Fall has arrived with a vengeance here - our kids were enjoying 29 degree wind chills last night as they did their trick-or-treating - brrr!  But that means quilting weather, so it's all good.  And since it's Friday, it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on, so let's get started!

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

Last week, I shared the backdrop for my trunk-or-treat display, and this week I've got pictures of the whole thing assembled!

Our theme was "Life was Good", a take-off on the Life Is Good shirts.   I painted the logo on a wooden pumpkin shape I had hanging around the craft room.

The skeleton was so much fun - my husband spent quite a while arranging him so he looked realistic and happy!  I'm not sure if he's waving or giving a high five, but he's definitely got a smile on his face!

And of course, you've got to have marshmallows to cook over the fire!  The kids were fascinated with these - they kept reaching out and touching them to see if they were real...

A little pine tree and some fall leaves and flowers brought some forest realism to the scene...

...but this little guy stole the show!

Everyone fell in love with our little doggy skeleton!

And at the end of the event, we had quite a surprise...

We won the prize for best trunk!!!

So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?

*&*&*&*&*&*&*

And now it's your turn!

What's got you whooping it up this week?

(how about a little dance music?)

What's making you do a little happy dance?

Share! We want to dance right along with you,

And it's always more fun to dance with friends!

The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.

Hope to see you there!

Hugs!

Sarah

  1. Congratulations on the First Place win! You absolutely earned it. Your creativity is inspiring. With the cold temp, I bet many wished the fire was a real one. Have a great weekend. D. Weeks (aka Momma Llama)
