Make-A-List Monday - Still No Sewing, But a Finish!

Hi, all!

Well, it's Monday again and I haven't had any time to sew for the past week - yowzer!  It's a weird feeling, but it's only a few more days and then early voting will be over.

But even though I haven't been sewing, I DID have a finish today...

We finally signed the closing papers to sell our beautiful old house to a lovely young couple.  Here's hoping they create as many happy memories there as we did, and many more beyond that!

Just to give you an idea of how I feel right now!

So now I really want to know - - - what are YOU working on this week?

Hugs!

Sarah

  2. Congrats! I’m sure mixed emotions! The house looks lovely. I’m amazed at the number of people I know selling right now and that they are selling so quickly! That is awesome. I’m toying with the idea of selling and moving myself.

  4. Congratulations on the sale, it must be a bittersweet thing. We voted this week, and will be taking a drive on the BRP to see the fall color. Not much sewing here this week either.

  8. Whew! That's a HUGE project off your plate! I've been basting and quilting up a storm here, trying to whittle down my UFO pile. It feels good :)

  10. I am a beginner and I struggle with making time for sewing, however I make time to go shopping for fabric and accessories. How do I implement sewing into my schedule at least 2-3 days out of the week?

    1. My best suggestion is to choose a project you really want to do, then set some achievable weekly goals that you will really want to reach. Then make time! And no more shopping for fabric until you reach that week's goal....
