Hi, all!
Friday is here and you know what that means - it's time for us to get our whoop whoop on!! Monday I made a promise to focus on my to-do list, and that has done wonders for my productivity, so I've got some things to whoop about - I hope you do too! Let's get started!
*&*&*&*&*&*&*
Here's today's finish - repairing this little guy for my grandson! If you look carefully you can see on the upper left side of the beige piece, there's about a two inch place that I had to resew. He was willing to wait until Saturday to get it back, but I took it to him today and he did a little happy dance himself!
I also finished the last prototype for the String Therapy tutorial series this week, AND found backs for all of them!
And I managed to quilt one for the first tutorial post! Now to get some great pictures (if the sun would ever shine again...) and write the post. This series will start on Sunday, January 31st - mark your calendars!
I also made barbecue ribs in the instant pot this week for the very first time - and yowza, were they good! Fall off the bone tender and super easy. And for those of you who will ask, I used this recipe! Paired with some homemade coleslaw, they made an indulgent and fairly healthy feast!
But the very biggest thing I've done this week?
I've been working on this year's Hands2Help Comfort Quilt Challenge info, and the new blog Page is up! The button isn't ready yet, but it should be soon. I'm writing potential sponsors, too!
If you are interested in being a guest blogger for Hands2Help, please drop me a line at salliesue57 (at) gmail (dot) com. I think I still have five slots open, and I'd love to get those nailed down this week!
So - - - can I get a whoop whoop?
*&*&*&*&*&*&*
And now it's your turn!
What's got you whooping it up this week?
What's making you do a little happy dance?
Share! We want to dance right along with you,
And it's always more fun to dance with friends!
The party will stay open until Sunday midnight.
Hope to see you there!
Hugs!
Sarah

So cute, I'm sure your little guy is thrilled to have his Ninja turtle back. Those ribs look yummy.
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes - but I am going to say - the animal repair - was probably the best of all - so sweet!
ReplyDeletewoohoo! Great meme! Can we take a breath yet?
ReplyDeleteAh, TMNT. Years ago, when I cake decorated, I made a ton of them in icing. Fond memories of those guys!
ReplyDeleteYou've had a very good week--nice to have projects to look forward to! Great doctoring on the ninja!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the last String Theory top done, all six backs sorted, AND the first quilt done!!!
ReplyDeleteRepairing favorite cuddly toys is an important mission! Well done
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes, Sarah! We made some slow cooked in the oven ribs last weekend with a recipe from Kardea Brown. They were great and fall off the bone too. My sweet mama always made the best ribs in the oven!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! I am getting back into blogging and your posts are so inspiring and informative. I look forward to following your posts and learning more. Thank you!

You have been a very busy bee, Sarah . I look for the the String tutorial and will mark it on the calendar. Hope you get a lot of quilting in this week. Happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to H2H this year. String Therapy is a really cute pattern.
ReplyDeleteAveți toată stima și respectul meu.Va iubesc chiar dacă nu vă cunosc personal.
ReplyDeleteVa doresc multa sănătate și bucurie din România.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I really like your "Quilts on Deck" hanging system. Very handy dandy! And your ribs and coleslaw sound delish. I'm still #teamairfyer, I haven't dipped my toe in the Instant Pot waters...but I'm getting closer. =)
