Make-A-List Monday - Where Did The Week Go?

Hi, all!

Monday? How did that happen?  Holiday weekends always mess with my timing, it seems - but that's really no excuse for my results this week.  I need to get back on track with following my list!

Here's how last week's list went...

1.  Keeping working on the fifth String Therapy prototype.

I'm happy to say that not only is the fifth prototype finished...

...but I also finished the sixth and final one!

This kind of grabbed all my attention this week, which will explain how I did on the rest of the list.....

2.  Write up estimates for the commission quilts.

Done!  Deposit received, and fabric ordered and received, too, so I'm ready to start on these this week.

3.  Contact potential H2H sponsors and charities.

I have a comprehensive list of sponsors ready, but haven't written my request letter yet.  The charities are chosen, except for one for which I need to formulate a proposal.

4.  Quilt some tops for the quilt ministry.

Didn't get to this one (hanging head in shame...)

5.  Start writing the String Therapy tutorials.

Didn't get to this one either. Looks like I need to spend some time at the computer during the day this week!

6.  Update the H2H Page on my blog.

I haven't finished everything I need to do before updating the page, but I did create this year's blog avatar!

So I didn't do so well on last week's list, but I will work hard to make up for it this week - I'll have to!  The end of the month is coming fast! Here's what I WILL be working on this week...

1.  Finish the list of charities and update the H2H Page on my blog.

2.  Contact potential H2H quilting community sponsors.

3.  Write at least one String Therapy tutorial.

4.  Quilt at least one ministry quilt.

5.  Deconstruct the clothing for the memory quilts commission.

In an effort to do better this week, I'm going to stop there and try to stay focused.  Hopefully that will help me get a bit more done!

And now, I really want to know - - - what are YOU working on this week?

Hugs!

Sarah

  1. I'm pulling stitches from a quilt that was 99% completed. I happened to turn the quilt over and looked at the stitching on the back and discovered the tension was bad -- all through the quilting. Put it in--rip it out--put it back in--properly!

  2. I'm doing an online quilt retreat for a while today ... and I put up the new logo for H2H in my sidebar!

  5. Ta-Da!!! Looks to me like you accomplished splendidly!!
I worked on a little scrap quilt that will be for H2H. It was a bunch of orphaned HST's and it is turning out so cute! Foggy cold day here...perfect for sewing together some HST's.

  6. I am trying to finish the little challenge top so I can get it quilted and bound by the deadline next month. That has been taking a lot of time these last two weeks. I am also trying to sew a dress and made good progress on that yesterday. I need to attach binding to 3 quilts and hope to get to that by the end of the week. I also want to cut out a pair of pants. It is an ambitious do to list but I really need to get all these things done.

I love your 6th string quilt........what a fun contrast of the center and that border!

  7. My husband and I have been having lots of problems living together, he never gives me attention or makes me happy because he has fallen in love with another woman outside our marriage. I tried my best to make sure that my husband leaves this woman but the more I talk to him about it the more he makes me feel sad and unhappy, My marriage started leading to divorce because he no longer gives me attention. I wanted to forget him but i love him and didn't want to lose him. We have been married for years and he is all I could call a true best friend and best in all, the man that handles my problems perfectly, the man that makes sacrifices for ,my happiness. I wanted him back in my life badly and I was so confused. My Friends told me to buy books about relationships, so I went online for relationship books while I came across a spell caster called Dr Emu. I read testimonies and reviews about him so I contacted him immediately, explained my problems to him. Same day , he casted a spell for me and assured me for 2 days that my husband will return to me and to my greatest surprise the third day my husband came knocking on my door and begged for forgiveness. I am so happy that my love is back again and not only that, we are about to get married again, he proposed. I wouldn't stop talking about him. Contact him today if you need his help via email: emutemple@gmail.com and you will see that your problem will be solved without any delay. Website: https://emutemple.wordpress.com/
